What does it all mean?

InSci 455R Project #5
by Karen Scalley

Some have asked for an explanation of the title of my blog.
Before Ron and I were married I sent him a card that said,
"I love you, I love you, I love you I do"
(----then on the inside it said---)
"But you must remember, I love monkeys too."

As we started having children, I would often say this rhyme to them.
So when Steven and Meredith were creating my blog
and searching for a title--
Steven, with the amazing memory, remembered this poem !

As a footnote:
I later used this card in an art project for a BYU class--
where late, late, at night
in the throes of excitement of completing this assignment
I punctured my thigh with an exacto knife.
moral of the story--love hurts!!

Karen's first and last

My First Official Blog Post

How I spent my birthday...
all together except for
Morgan and Jacob (we missed you soooo much)
With a reminder from Ron, they had a cake waiting.

We then walked the campus--noticing all the changes.

We rolled down the hill by the library--
Ok, actually only Steven, Ron, Riley and Emma did the rolling--

we took family photos
(we can photoshop you in Morgan)

Cute hand-holding family--remembering when they lived here too.

Taking a break after running in the 80 degree sunshine !

Now the reason why we all came to Prove:

Meredith and Steven so glad this day finally arrived
Our last BYU graduation--until the grandchildren!!

the graduate couple

So happy-- we did it!!
but wait, we still have about nine more years of schooling left--
medical school here we come!!

Birthday and Graduation
What a great week of celebration!!
Thank you wonderful family!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Question: What do you buy your mom for her birthday when you are a starving student about to incur thousands of dollars of debt?
(No....not a Wii)

Answer: Nothing!

You make her something...and in this digital age we decided to create a blog.

So, welcome to the blogosphere...whether you like it or not, you are now a part of it!!! We are very excited about your upcoming trip to Europe and we want to be kept up to date. This blog serves that purpose.

We know it has been hard for you to take that leap and start a blog, so we thought that we would make it easier by creating one for you. Now all you have to do is upload pictures and type in your thoughts. We will show you how - don't worry.

You are the best and we love you so much! We are about to move farther away from you but hopefully this blog will help us to feel a little closer.

Love,
Steven and Meredith
